“The Guardian platform and its host of services represents a giant leap forward in our ability to make sure we are only hiring the best people,” said Keith Summey, Mayor of North Charleston. “Our residents can take comfort in knowing that rebuilding public trust is a keystone of our department. Mitigate risk by utilizing affordable background and ongoing screening technologies to comprehensively and continually analyze current law enforcement professionals in your agencies and vet future applicants to ensure quality hires.
Reduce lawsuits (and costs incurred by lawsuits) by utilizing technology that provides better vetting practices, diverse hiring information, and social media activity.
Though applicant’s are asked to provide other agencies they have applied to, the fact is some refrain from disclosing an agency that disqualified them during the background process. With Guardian, you gain visibility to other agencies the applicant has applied to.
Reports provide critical hiring data such as the percentage of applicants being hired or disqualified compared to the total applicant pool. Compare demographic data (race, gender, ethnicity, nationality) to ensure fair and impartial hiring practices are being adhered to.
Applicants may alter answers when applying to multiple agencies in an attempt to get hired. Guardian tracks all answers supplied to the various agencies and provides investigators with a history of any and all changes.
In today’s times, budget spending is tight for agencies. They are being asked to retain the same output, with less funds. The utilization of effective technology solutions can help automate tasks and simplify processes, allowing for better efficiency.
Guardian doesn’t require any special hardware to be purchased and can be accessed from virtually anywhere. There are no upfront fees, no training fees, no installation costs, no long-term contract or commitment, and all records are stored electronically.
Guardian understands the sensitivity of the information that is collected from applicants, references, and other sources during the course of an investigation. As such, security is of high importance for the safety of applicants and our future officers.
Guardian is hosted and secured on Amazon Web Services (AWS GovCloud US).
Guardian complies with the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services security policy.
Many agencies communicate with outside parties (including the applicant) via less secure means of communication, such as email. Guardian provides a secure, online area for applicants to fill out forms and transfer sensitive documents to their investigator.
