PHQ Usability and Account Management Fixes
This release adds a "No Charge" option to CA POST Section 8 forms and clearer guidance for a multi-tab warning. It also corrects the agency-name field in assisted account recovery, two Admin role issues, and SMS phone-number validation. All changes are live in production.
"No Charge" Option for Detention Incidents (CA POST)
CA POST agencies only
This applies only to CA POST agencies.
Applicants completing CA POST 2-251 and 2-255 forms can now report incidents where they were detained but not charged. Section 8 Question 1.1 now includes a "No Charge" option. The button is now labeled "Add Incident," and the instructions now cover arrests, convictions, and detention-only incidents.
Clearer Multi-Tab Warning
Applicants who continue to see the multi-tab warning after closing another tab now receive clearer instructions. The message tells them to wait up to five minutes and then refresh the page before continuing.
Assisted Account Recovery: Associated Agency
Applicants using assisted account recovery can now type their agency name in a text field instead of choosing from a dropdown list.
Admin Role Changes and Investigation Assignment
Two Admin role issues have been updated:
- Supervisors can change an Admin user's role while MFA is enabled. The correct MFA code is no longer rejected during the role change.
- Investigations can now be assigned to users with the Admin role.
Shared Phone Numbers for SMS Notifications
A validation rule no longer blocks the same phone number from receiving SMS notifications across multiple user accounts. Unique phone numbers are not required.
